Welcome to my humble digital abode, where I spill the beans on my ongoing quest for balance and where I’ll share my (sometimes rocky) journey to a healthier, happier and more balanced life.

 

I’m Kylie, your friendly neighborhood health explorer and part-time wit peddler. No, I don’t have a degree in nutrition or a collection of fitness certifications to my name, but I do have a passion for all things healthy living, especially when it comes to nurturing our bodies and minds from the inside out.

 

My journey began at the ripe age of 14 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Talk about a plot twist, right? It was then I decided to embark on a healthier path in life, or rather forced upon it.  Spoiler alert: It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows – or even smoothie bowls and avocado toasts. Cause honestly what 14-year-old cares about what’s going into their teenage body?  I sure as hell didn’t! 

 

Throughout the years, I’ve tried my hand at a plethora of diets, workouts, and wellness practices, and let’s just say not everything has been a smashing success. I’ve oscillated between junk food enthusiast and purveyor of plant-based living, only to land somewhere in the middle as a reasonable, health-conscious human being, who still eats treats and doesn’t harp on herself for missing a “gym” day. 

 

If you’re searching for an unblemished health guru who’s never known the sinful delight of a cheeseburger, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place. But if you’re after someone who’s been through the wringer of healthy living and emerged with a sense of humor (and a few lessons learned), then you’ve found your people.

 

Here on this blog, you’ll encounter candid tales of my wellness escapades, useful nuggets of wisdom I’ve picked up along the way, and my no-holds-barred take on the latest health fads and trends. Because let’s face it – sometimes the world of wellness can be as absurd as it is inspiring.
